Does You Child Need to Wear a Mouthguard?

Does your child play any sports? If so, do they wear a mouthguard?

If not, it may be what stands between your child and an injury. Mouthguards are not just for football and hockey, in fact, most sports and recreational activities should be played with a mouthguard.

Mouthguards are commonly viewed as only protectin teeth, and although they do keep teeth safe, mouthguards also protect our tongue, lips, jaw, and face.

Safety is a top priority for your child. Make sure that they are wearing a mouthguard that fits them accurately and comfortably. We want all of our patients and their families to have healthy teeth for life and one of these ways to adequately protect them.
